Trip to Svalbard in March 2009

I have now returned from my latest trip to Svalbard. The weather was not very kind this time, got snowed-in Longyearbyen for two days and even after it cleared up a but, conditions were just not right to go to the East Coast as it was originally planned. Instead we spent the time in Templefjorden.
This proven to be a good decision as we ended up seeing polarbears in Templefjorden. One morning we seen 5 bears within a couple of hours not far from our hut. Due to this change of plans all my latest photos were taken in and around Longyearbyen and Templefjorden. I hope you will enjoy them.
My next trip i already booked and I am going back in September to experience the island in the autumn.
