Arrived to Svalbard three days ago. Sunday was a cold and clear day, so the chances were good to see the Northern light. This was something which I wanted to see all my life. So late at night went out to Adventdalen. And it was my lucky night. It started off very faint, but as time went by the light was getting stronger and stronger. The temperature was -15C plus the windchill. Spending about an hour out there was a very cold exercise. It is not always easy to be a photographer.
